Organizers of a charity campaign for First Nations children say they want to show that Canadians support Indigenous youth.
Former Chief of Attawapiskat Bruce Shisheesh says the charity "I Love First Peoples" is running a shoebox campaign.
"Our vision with the shoebox is basically to give school supplies and toy gifts for indiginous children who don't have access to basic items".
The Canada-wide campaign runs until December 15th.
Central Tech on 1st Street South in Kenora is the local drop-off for the shoe boxes.
