A long-standing boil water advisory on a remote first nation is now over.
Kenora M.P. Bob Nault says a new water treatment plant is up and running on
the Slate Falls First Nation.
He says this is the first time in 14 years residents there can drink water from their taps.
The federal government spent 11.6 million dollars to build a new water treatment plant.
The last boil water advisory was lifted on February 5th.
