Glen Murray Resigns As Environment Minister

The man at the center of the on-going mercury contamination sago on the English-Wabigoon
River System is leaving provincial politics.

Glen Murray is resigning as the Minister of Environment and Climate Change.

Murray had been tasked with working with scientists and Grassy Narrows First Nation to identify sources of mercury
contamination.

He will be taking over as the executive director of the Pembina Institute, an environmental think tank based in Alberta.
