A full day of outdoor activities for kids at the Kenora Catholic District School Board.

The annual Fall Feast was celebrated over three days on Pow Wow Island on the Rat Portage First Nation.

Shelly Tom is the First Nation, Metis and Inuit Coordinator and says it's a great opportunity to get the kids out of the classroom for some hands on learning.

Some of the activities included learning about drumming, skinning a deer, as well as bannock and wild rice making.
